INFO

Callam Offices stands as a significant and "beautifully strange" example of Brutalist and Late Twentieth-Century Structuralist architecture in Canberra's Woden Town Centre. Designed by renowned architect John Andrews, this ACT Heritage-listed complex is defined by its three interconnected octagonal "pods" elevated on massive concrete columns. Its unique design, a direct response to its site, prominently features a sophisticated suspension system of steel masts and cables supporting the floors, all executed in the raw, off-form concrete characteristic of the Brutalist style.
